Terra & Twine started in 2019 as a way to bring the work of small artisan workshops — weavers in Kutch, potters in Khurja, woodworkers in Kerala — into ordinary homes, without the usual markup of a big-box retailer. Every piece here is bought directly from the maker, at a price that pays them fairly. We photograph everything in our own Kochi studio so you see the real texture and colour before it arrives, and we keep the collection small on purpose — every piece here is something we'd actually put in our own home. Most pieces are one of a small batch, so a favourite may not be restocked exactly the same way twice.
